Manifesto

We do not chase the season. We are not interested in the loud, the fluorescent, or the disposable. Marko Donquez is built around a single question — what does a man of quiet confidence wear when no one is looking?

Chapter One

The Aurelio Coat.

Cut from a single bolt of double-faced Italian cashmere, finished by hand in our Florence atelier over the course of fourteen days. There is no lining; the second face is the lining. Fewer parts, fewer seams, longer life.

Available in espresso, oxblood, and a private bone reserved for the house.

Method

Three principles, held quietly.

i.
Material first.

We begin at the mill, not the moodboard. Every garment is a vote for the fibre — Loro Piana cashmere, Albini cottons, Italian leathers tanned by men who learned from their grandfathers.

ii.
The hand stays.

Our buttonholes are sewn by hand. Our pick stitches are pulled by hand. A small house can afford patience that a public one cannot. We intend to remain small.

iii.
Built to outlast us.

Our garments carry a registered serial. They are repaired, never retired. A coat purchased in 2026 is meant to be worn — properly worn — by your grandchildren.
